Creality Group is a small consultancy that provides writing, editing, proofreading, branding and strategic communication services for the international development sector. We are currently looking for junior English editors for our growing team. Although some experience with editing and/or proofreading is preferred for this job, it is not a strict requirement. The role is home-based.

Talented individuals with impeccable English and attention to detail who have an interest in the humanitarian sector are highly encouraged to apply. We will provide you with the training required. However, to succeed in this job, you must be willing to learn, open to feedback, and have a positive, can-do attitude.

We offer the opportunity for growth and career advancement. We are looking for smart individuals who are able to read and understand technical documents and gradually learn more about the development sector and all the different issues tackled. While no minimum amount of weekly/monthly hours is required, we do appreciate the flexibility and the ability to take up urgent tasks with tight deadlines and little notice (one of the tricky aspects of the job!).

  • Ability to read and understand technical information
  • Flexibility in adjusting to different guidelines and writing styles

Preferred

  • Previous experience in editing and proofreading is a bonus but not required*
  • Past experience with the development sector is a bonus but not required
